Last year with the generous support of donors like you, we brought the joy of Diwali to 2,800 children and elders by gifting them clothes, sweets, and meals. The joy and gratitude on their faces were beyond words, and this year, we're aiming even higher.

WHAT WE DO

What Are We Doing This Diwali?

For Diwali 2025, we're calling it "Diwali for all, because everyone deserves to celebrate.

We will be distributing 5,000 Diwali Gifts sets to:

  • Children from low-income families.
  • Senior citizens from old age homes.
  • Orphans living in homes and shelters.
  • Differently-abled children and elders.
  • Children who have lost one or both parents.

Why Siragugal is Needed?

Did you know that 23 million girls drop out of school every year in India once they start menstruating? This is not because they lack intelli gence or ambition but because they don't have access to something as basic as sanitary pads.

In many communities girls are forced to use old clothes, newspapers or even ash in place of sanitary pads, risking infection and health prob-lems. Even worse, many schools don't have facilities like clean toilets or private spaces where girls can manage their periods. As a result, many of them feel embarrassed and ashamed, which causes them to miss school, leading to them eventually dropping out.

The Siragugal Program is trying to change that. We believe that every girl should have the chance to learn and grow, no matter her circum-stances. This is where we step in
